Default How to guide teens?

Abstinence education works with students who have parents who care about their kids. It never works where kids have uninvolved, "have a kid for the money," "have a kid to increase our family" stupid families.

In contrast, we lock our daughters up and throw away the key before allowing such immoral behavior. We make sure our daughters are involved in PreAP/AP classes, extracurricular activities and church activities.

We may have to let that go once they are in college, but by then, they have internalized (or not) the values we inculcated.

Much of your advice is about not freaking out when your kid says, ‘Whatever.’ Not blurting out what you’re thinking.
