This policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use and safeguard the personal information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our site and our services. Because we value your privacy, College Kingdom will not sell, rent or trade your personal information collected on this site except as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
The Information We Collect:
College Kingdom collects information from our users at several different points on our website. In general, you can visit College Kingdom on the Internet without telling us who you are and without giving any personal information about yourself. College Kingdom uses any information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience in our network of sites, whether to provide interactive or personalized elements on the sites or to better prepare future content based on the interests of our users.

The Way We Use Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)
We employ the Google Analytics, a software technology that uses clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of web users. In addition, we use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by the recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. When We Share Your Information
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our website.
We use an outside company to process credit cards and to bill users for goods and services. This company does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
We may partner with other third parties to provide specific services. We will share names or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services.
In the event College Kingdom goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, users’ personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. If, as a result of the business transition, the users’ personally identifiable information will be used in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, they will be given the option of removing their personal information from our system.
Your Choice/Opt-in
Our users are given the opportunity to ‘opt-in’ to having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for information. For example, our newsletter subscription form has an ‘opt-in’ mechanism so users who request our newsletter may receive marketing material on related products or services.
